‘Dear John’, the romantic drama with an 84 percent female audience overpowered James Cameron’s blockbuster ‘Avatar’ this weekend.
‘Dear John’ brought in $32.4 million this weekend, while ‘Avatar’ brought in nearly ten million less at $23.6 million. The remaining top five box office winners this weekend were ‘From Paris With Love’ which brought in $8.1 million, ‘Edge of Darkness’ which brought in $7 million and ‘Tooth Fairy’ which brought in $6.5 million.
