Linda Maria Frank is a former forensic science teacher that has turned her passion and love for writing into a career. Frank is considered to be the next Carolyn Keene according to some of her fans. The character that she created to solve the mysteries goes by the name of Annie Tillery. The easiest way to describe the work of Frank is “Nancy Drew meets CSI”. Frank takes the things that she enjoys most in life like sailing, falling in love, and her fascination with the Big Apple, New York City.
In her book titled “The Madonna Ghost”, Annie Tillery is on her way to the Long Island Fire Island with her aunt who happens to be an NYPD detective. Their plans involved some relaxing in the sun, going surfing, and maybe sailing. However, like in all of Linda Maria Frank’s books there is suspicion and drama that lies ahead for Tillery. Annie eventually meets her love interest in Ty Egan, and they find themselves trying to solve the confusing story of a local ghost legend. About Linda Maria Frank: Linda Maria Frank was a science teacher at Seaford’s Middle School and High School teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She left the school to teach forensic science and biotechnology at Hofstra University and recently retired from Adelphi University where she supervised science student teachers. It was her love of science, especially forensic science that first gave her the idea and storyline behind the Annie Tillery Mysteries.
