Findit to Launch to New Search Results Page
Findit, Inc. which owns and operates Findit.com will be launching its new search results page in April of 2015. The new search result page will feature search results from Findit that include:
News and Press Releases
Right Now Status Updates
Pictures
Music
Members
Findit Search will be adding Real Estate listings in Findit to its search results as a separate option to search along with the categories listed above.
The search result pages will provide a distinct look that separates Findit Search visually from other popular search engines. In addition to the Title, Description and the link to the URL the search result returns, Findit will display images when possible and will display the search results down the page in two columns.
Charlie Shikany of Findit stated “Visually the search result page on Findit, we believe, will provide people that are searching for something specific a better idea of the link to click on based on what Findit will display in the search results. We also think the search results will encourage more website owners to submit the URLs they want indexed in Findit to display in search results because of how cool the results look when they display.”
Searching in Findit provides categories you select to do your searches in. The default search pulls results from all the categories that Findit has and returns all of them under the Findit search tab. The categories listed above can all be searched individually as well. With the addition of Real Estate in the near future people looking for properties will be able to enter a zip code, city, state or description of the type of property they are searching for to have Findit produce the closest results. The Music search will display the track in the search result page along with the player so the person can click on the song right from the search result page and listen to that track right there.
Findit is an interactive search engine that provides anyone with the ability to open a Findit Site within Findit and post their content. People can also go to the Submit URL page and upload all of the pages they want indexed in Findit so they appear in Findit search results they match a search query.
Findit currently provides indexing for: Pictures, Music, News and Press Releases that have been submitted to either TransWorldNews or WooEB. Search results also include a member on Findit’s screen name or keyword URL. Keyword URLs when a search is entered that matches a keyword displays at the top of search results. Right Now status updates are also indexed in Findit Search.
To make sure your content is indexed in Findit, join Findit and begin to post your content inside your Findit account. To have any of your web pages, social pages, videos, news releases, photographs, blogs and more go to the Findit Submit URL page and post the URLs you want indexed. Include a title and description that best matches your page for proper search results.
To post an entire website to Findit search please email info@findit.com with your CSV file and one of our account representatives will get back to you. Each URL submitted to Findit is $1.95 for an entire year.
