During this past weekend's Super Bowl XLIV, Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints overcame a 10-point deficit versus the Indianapolis Colts to win their first ever Super Bowl in franchise history. Citing the rebuilding effort of hurricane-devastated New Orleans as motivation for his team, Saints quarterback Brees said, "We play for so much more than ourselves…We played for our city. We played for the entire Gulf Coast region.” Brees completed 32 out of 39 passes for a total of 288 yards and 2 touchdowns. With these numbers, Brees tied the Super Bowl record for completions and won the game's MVP title.
