Younger people in a family business are more enthusiastic about making investments in technology than their parents

according to a survey commissioned by Microsoft Corp. From a press release dated Thursday 2007-06-21.

  Younger people in a family business are more enthusiastic about making   investments in technology than their parents and grandparents in the business,   according to a survey commissioned by Microsoft Corp. From a press release dated   Thursday 2007-06-21.
 
  "The survey did reveal that seven in 10 owners with   multiple generations working in the business said that the younger generation is   more enthusiastic about technology than the older generation," according to   Eddie Yandle, a senior director of the Worldwide Small and Midmarket Solutions   and Partner group at the Redmond computer giant .
 
  Younger people who own   small businesses reported they were more satisfied with their technology   investments than older owners. Ninety-three percent of business owners younger   than 50 said they were satisfied, compared with only 67 percent for owners 65   and older.
 
  The survey of 252 small-business owners was conducted by KRC   Research for Microsoft.
