Rosie O’Donnell talks to ‘Price is Right’ producers

Rosie O’Donnell met with the producers of ‘The Price is Right’ on Thursday. After longtime host Bob Barker left the show there was speculation that Rosie would take his pace.

When asked on her blog how the interview went Rosie would only say “We had a nice lunch.” On her blog another fan asked how Rosie felt about Drew Carey taking Barkers place; to that Rosie replied: “I love Drew Carey.”

Barker added fuel to speculations last week when he commented that he had “no doubt” Rosie would be a great replacement. On Wednesday he said that he was not endorsing Rosie nor was he helping pick the replacement. “I think there are several candidates who could do the show, and Rosie is certainly one of them.”

O’Donnell admitted to fans she didn’t know if it would work but she would enjoy hosting the game show. “I don’t know if it’s gonna work out. I think it’s a part of America nostalgia, and it’s what America needs right now. It would be good for me, but I don’t know if it’s right for them,” Rosie told fans.

CBS is reportedly talking to Drew Carey about hosting the show. He is already set to host another CBS quiz show called ‘Power of 10.”
