J.K. Rowling finally leaks ending to final Harry Potter book
Last year J.K. Rowling announced that two Harry Potter characters would be killed at the end of the last book. Speculation had run wild about who would die but Rowling has not told anyone, not even Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry Potter in the movies. Rowling finally leaked the end of the story….to her husband.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series and will finally reveal to fans who will die. The final book is due out on July 21.
On Friday Radcliffe said he did not even know what would happen at the end of the series. “None of us get a preview,” he said, “I think only J.K. Rowling’s husband has recently found out what happens. I don’t think anybody else knows.”
Earlier on in his career as Harry Potter, Radcliffe said he wanted Harry Potter to die at the end of the book, but is careful about what he says this time. “A couple of years ago I said I would like Harry to die because I think that is a conclusive ending. But I’m going to steer away from that now because the next day the headlines were ‘Radcliffe Wants Harry Dead,” he said. “I do think it would be fitting in a way, because when you consider the prophecy that was made about him and Voldemort, one of them has to go. I think he might, but that’s based on absolutely nothing.”
In the latest movie Harry finds out that both he and evil Voldemort cannot both live; raising speculation that one or both of them has to die in the last book.
Over 325 million copies of the first 6 books have been sold and the four movies that have been released have raked in around $3.5 billion dollars. The next movie “Harry Potter and the Order of the
Publishers have kept the contents of the last Harry Potter book air tight until the release which is said to possibly be one of the “biggest events in publishing history.”
Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Radcliffe say they want to continue acting after all Harry Potter movies have been made.
