Eddie Murphy took a DNA test on June 11 after former 'Spice Girls' member Melanie Brown claimed that her two month-old daughter’s father was Eddie Murphy. Brown’s rep confirms that the test showed Eddie was the father of baby Angel Iris.
Murphy and Brown dated last summer and when the couple split and Brown insisted the baby was Murphy’s he said “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.” In May, Brown told PEOPLE that Murphy refused to take a paternity test and had not contacted since Angel Iris was born.
“He hasn’t seen his daughter. My people have contacted his people and they just had no response to anything,” Brown said.
"He's the baby's father, it's official," a source says. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his. There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."
Murphy’s rep has not commented on the situation.
