Girls feet sliced off on thrill ride at Six Flags

The Superman Tower of Power lifts passengers up 177 feet and then drops them at almost 54 mph. State inspectors are there to examine the ride. Other similar rides have been shut down all across the nation as a precautionary measure.

Six Flags Spokeswoman Wendy Goldberg reported that there have been no other accidents on the ride before Thursday. “Millions of people have safely ridden this ride in our parks,” she said. Officials are looking into the accident.
