The American Cornhole Organization, will showcase its ACO World Championships of Cornhole X on July 7-11 at the Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN.
This is the 10th year for the ACO Worlds and the anticipation is mounting.
Saturday July 11 the ESPN Sports Center on the Road featuring
Matt Barrie and Sara Walsh will set up at the ACO Worlds from 9:00 am until Noon. Interviews are planned with the ACO Pros and maybe a cornhole game or two will take place on the set.
The ACO added the
ACO Slyder Cup to the Worlds that now features a variety of events. For 5 days, it is a festival of cornhole at the Knoxville Convention Center.
With competitive and social divisions there is plenty of cornhole for all: World Juniors, World Seniors, Womens Singles, World Doubles, and the featured event, the World Singles, to crown the next King or Queen of Cornhole. Bring the family. Admission is Free.
Players will be represent 10 or more States and Canada and all will be planning to showcase their best to lay their claim to bragging rights at whatever level they are participationg.
Frank Geers of American Cornhole says, "We have planned a few extras for the 10th and are very excited to be coming to Knoxville."
The World Singles Grand Prize is $10,000 and that prize could go to any one of a couple dozen players.
