The ACO Worlds in its 10 th year will be adding the
ACO Slyder Cup to its list of events
.
The ACO Worlds include professional cornhole players competing for championships from all over the US and Canada. ESPN Sports Center on the Road will be broadcasting live on Saturday July 11. The week will be all about cornhole.
.
This year the Knoxville business community will be part of the
ACO Worlds by participating in the inaugural ACO World Slyder Cup to be held July 8, 2015. This is an all day event.
The World Slyder Cup is all about fun and community support. It is networking with local business people, while building team relationships and employee bonding
Here is how it works. A business or even just a group of local buddies can sponsor a Slyder Cup Team or Teams. Choose a fun team name or Company ID. It is up to the team. There can be up to seven members on the team. Either one of these team members is designated as Captain or another person can be chosen as Captain.
The team will compete as a team with other Knoxville area business teams in various cornhole events. There will be bragging rights and cash prizes for the winners. And the team declared ACO World Slyder Cup winners will receive the Official World Slyder Cup Jerseys.
Frank Geers of the ACO says, "Knoxville is a perfect fit for the ACO World Championships and the inaugural Slyder Cup competition. There is a wide range of businesses in the community. The fact that tailgating is part of this towns genetic make-up makes me certain the locals will have a blast coming out to party, network, support their city and pitch cornhole with us July 8, 2015 at the Knoxville Convention Center."
Walk up registration is available .
Families are welcome and admission is Free.
