Carithers Flowers Reminds Customers that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Atlanta Florist Has Flower Arrangements for Survivors, Fighters, and Those Lost

ATLANTA, GEORGIA. (October 6, 2015). Carithers Flowers, the second generation, family-owned Atlanta florist, announced that it is participating in Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October, including National Mammography Day on October 16th. The Atlanta florist has special flower arrangements for survivors, fighters, and the loved ones who have lost family to breast cancer.

In commenting on the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Carithers Flowers Founder Charles Carithers said, “I think everyone has been touched by this horrible disease in one way or another – either having survived it, currently fighting it, or knowing someone that has lost their battle to breast cancer or another type of cancer. Sharing flowers with others during this special month shows your love, support, and remembrance with breast cancer.”

Carithers added, “This month is designed as a way to remind us all that the battle is not yet won and more research is required. It’s also important to be proactive and have regular mammograms because breast cancer can often be stopped when detected early.”

Some highlights from the flower arrangement collections that feature pink flowers, which are the color used to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month, include:

·      Blushing Rewards’ Hydrangea and Roses includes fuchsia roses, pink spray roses, and pastel pink hydrangea with greenery in a clear glass vase.

·      Tropicala offers pink tropical flowers, such as pink torch ginger and orchid sprays in a glass cylinder vase.

·      Grans Reserve Pink Roses makes a stunning statement because these exclusive roses only offered by Carithers are 30% larger than any other roses.

·      Bliss! offers a gorgeous array of flowers, such as gerbera, roses, stargazer lilies and southern hydrangea.

·      Polka Dots and Posies is a cube arrangement with pink spray roses and daisies in a cube vase that has been wrapped with a pink and white polka dot ribbon.
