Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts, the third
generation, family-owned and operated Denver florist, announced that it has
numerous pink-themed flower arrangements to share with breast cancer survivors,
fighters, and loved ones that have lost someone to breast cancer. These
pink-themed flower bouquets can also be used for National Mammography Day on
October 16th or any local Denver event that is raising money and
awareness to fight this disease.
In commenting on Breast Cancer
Awareness Month, President John Paul Veldkamp said, “We all know someone that
has had or is fighting breast cancer. It is a horrible disease that touches all
of our lives but it is one that we can beat with further research and more
proactive exams and treatment. The local Denver community has so many special
events that show our support for winning the battle over breast cancer. We
participate in many events with our time and our beautiful flowers.”
Veldkamp added, “We plan on
donating $5 for every bouquet or arrangement purchased from our Pink
Collection during the month of October. This money will go to local and
national breast cancer organizations fighting this disease.”
