MotoDiscovery is pushing the limits of adventure travel again with our 12 day Cuban motorcycle tour. This tour is similar to the 7 day tour but allowing more time for our guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Cuban landscape. There is no better way to experience a vacation in Cuba than on 2 wheels. A longer Tour allows us to explore more of the Cuban culture than the traditional 7 day tour. Our 12 day tour consists of over 900 miles of touring to Havana, Bay of Pigs, Camaguey, Cayo Coco, Santa Clara, and Cienfuegos. Each stop provides us with a unique look into the culture, landmarks, and history of the country. When you want to experience Cuba in a unique way that most vacationers overlook the Cuba 12 day motorcycle tour will not disappoint.

This tour consists of primarily paved road riding with the occasional unpaved sections as well as areas in disrepair and in need of maintenance. The ride is easily navigated by any rider with some touring experience. A very moderate pace allows riders to get a more comprehensive experience in each of our stops.

On the 12 day Cuba Motorcycle Tour you can expect to engage with the Cuban people while we ride through the Cuban countryside stopping in rural villages, tobacco farms, and music and art schools. This is an adventure tour with emphasis on people to people exchanges. Interacting with the Cuban people proves to be an enriching, enlightening, and rewarding experience on all our tours. Starting the tour in Havana is an experience unlike any other. The city is everything that it is cracked up to be and more. This UNESCO world heritage site is vibrant city exploding with old world culture, fantastic music, and world class dining. There is truly something for everyone to enjoy during our time spent in Havana.

From Havana we will be on our way through the Cuban countryside as we head east through the provinces of Mantanzas, Sanctus Spirit, Villa Clara, Ciego de Avila, and Camaguey. Throughout the ride we are surrounded by music and dance which is are vibrant throughout the region. We will see gifted young musicians being tutored in violin at the Escuela de Arte as well as enjoy a thorough immersion into popular culture. Of course you can also sample the cigars and rum that are famously from Cuba as well. You are allowed to bring home $100 in rum and cigars as souvenirs from your trip.
