NYSE Euronext announced plans to supply technology for a project to facilitate cross-border trading on four stock exchanges located across Southeast Asia.
Monday, the NYSE Technologies division signed a letter of intent with the stock exchanges, which include the Philippine Stock Exchange, Singapore Exchange, Bursa Malaysia and the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
The ultimate goal for the ASEAN Trading Link is to electronically unite the exchanges, permitting investors access to the range of markets within the region.
