  • New homes hit the market every day. If you don’t find a home that is perfect for you in the first few days don’t get discouraged. There are new homes hitting the market every day. If you are patient you will find something that is perfect for you and your family.
  • Get Pre-Approved this will give you more leverage in the negotiation process. Many times buyers will find a home that is perfect for them only to learn later on that they cannot qualify for a loan for that property. Becoming Pre-Approved allows you to be taken more seriously by sellers and will also give you a price range to be searching for.
  • Keep your financial situation the same throughout the home buying process. Even if you are pre-approved this does not guarantee the loan yet. Big changes in your financial situation can cause the lender to back out before things are finally. Save big purchases until after the home sale is final and make sure to stay current on your bills.
  • Be there when your home is being inspected if possible. The inspection of your home can give you valuable information both on the current condition of your home as well as how to maintain it after you take ownership.
  • Negotiations are a “give and take”. Remember there are two parties needed to complete the purchase of your home. Just like you and your agent are looking to get the best deal for you, the same goes for the sellers. Our agents can help you with this process to ensure everyone is happy and you are getting the best deal possible.
