Denver, Colorado Florist Reminds Customers February is National Wedding Month

DENVER, COLORADO. (February 22, 2016).  Veldkamp’s Flowers and Gifts, the third generation, family-owned and operated Denver florist, announced that February is National Wedding Month, which kicks off the 2016 wedding season. The Denver florist has already received numerous appointments for free wedding flower consultations for upcoming spring weddings and summer weddings.

In commenting on the wedding services offered by the Denver florist, President John Paul Veldkamp said, “We are excited to see that brides are starting early this year perhaps inspired by a Valentine’s Day engagement. Many wedding flower consultations have already been scheduled, which gives brides a personal point of contact to plan their wedding flowers, ask questions and get advice, and order their wedding flowers.”

The Denver flower shop also offers a dedicated wedding flower and event website where customers can review a wedding portfolio with galleries of wedding flowers produced for previous customers, including examples of bridal bouquets, wedding party flowers, wedding ceremony flowers, wedding reception flowers, boutonnieres and corsages, wedding flower centerpieces and wedding cake flowers. 

The Denver florist has a wedding staff that is led by Mr. Alex Jackson who joined the Veldkamp’s team in late 2014. He was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 2006. Alex currently serves on the AIFD board, in their southwest region. In addition to being AIFD certified, Alex was also inducted into the Professional Floral Communicators International (PFCI) in 2010 and to the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF) in 2012. His previous experience includes handling the floral design for the Academy Awards a few years ago in Los Angeles.
