Register For Summer 2016 Classes At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School

Registered for summer courses at the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS). We offer classes online and on-campus during the summer. Apply to ACTS and begin your Coptic Orthodox Christian education. At ACTS we believe in inviting all to partake in the fullness of faith. We seek to better the world through Orthodox Christian theological education, research, and scholarship. ACTS offers both a Masters of Divinity degree as well as a Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies. Our certificate program is ideal for prosepective students, lay persons, or others interested in exposure to religious and theological studies.

All classes offered this summer qualify for the Servant’s Preparation Program. Classes offered from May 29th till August 19th include:

COP 2990 Coptic Language I (Sahidic) with Dr. Mark Moussa

COP 3065 Introduction to Orthodox Spirituality with Fr. Kyrillos Ibrahim

COP 3095 Orthodox Approach to Drug Addiction with Dr. Michael Hanna

The classes are designed to be introductions to different aspects of the Coptic Orthodox religion. Learn about the rich spiritual tradition of Orthodox Christianity, as well as the basics of reading Coptic (Sahidic dialect). Our Approach to Drug Addiction class provides a biblical, psychological, sociological, and patristic approach to counseling those afflicted with various addictions.
