The Coptic Congress Comes to Claremont in 2016 For The 11th International Congress For Coptic Studies

The St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS) is happy to announce the 11th Congress will be hosted by Claremont from July 25-30, 2016. Every four years the experts of the International Association for Coptic Studies hold a conference in which top scholars throughout the world gather to present their research in Coptic archaeology, art, literature, papyrology, monasticism, and other topics. Register online for this prestigious event. Fees range from $90 to $260 depending on IACS membership. The conference will host a number of book and congress exhibitors.

Congress exhibitors include displays including manuscripts and artefacts from the Museum of the Bible, medieval Egyptian manuscripts, and a tribute to the pioneers of Coptic Studies at CGU.

At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School we strive to establish a model for Coptic Orthodox Christian Institutions aboard.
