Flowerama Columbus has Freshest Flowers for Hand Delivery This Mother’s Day

COLUMBUS, OHIO. (May 3, 2016). Flowerama Columbus, a family owned and operated flower shop, announced they have introduced a new collection of flowers, plants, and gifts for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 8^th. The Columbus florist will also be hand delivering on the Sunday holiday but recommends also considering an earlier delivery date leading up to the special holiday.

Steve Ozment, Owner of Flowerama Columbus, said, “We have been incredibly busy at all four of our Columbus flower shop locations. As the busiest day of the year for us, we have been filling phone, Internet, and store orders for a few weeks now. However, during this last week before Mother’s Day, it’s been especially busy as it is also Teacher Appreciation Week.”

Ozment added, “Besides flower arrangements, our biggest sellers have been items from our special brand partners like Cheryl’s Cookies, Yankee Candles, and Coblentz Chocolates. In fact, one favorite this year has been ‘The Taste of Spring,’ which is an assortment of nine Cheryl’s Cookies sugar cookies made and frosted to look like flowers that have been ‘planted’ in a terra cotta pot to look like a great flower arrangement. It combines the best of both presents in one.”

This year’s Mother’s Day collection offers spring and summer flower favorites, special hanging flower baskets filled with geraniums or petunias, gorgeous floral bouquets arranged within keepsake pitchers and baskets, and luxury flower arrangements. Of course, there are also extraordinary Mother’s Day roses in a rainbow of colors as well as blooming plants like orchids. A selection from the Mother’s Day collection is also on sale while supplies last. 

Appointments are still available with the floral design team to create in-store custom flower arrangements for Mother’s Day. The Columbus florist recommends bringing in a special item to use as the container for the customer Mother’s Day bouquet.
