Sit in on an exciting lecture series hosted at The Greens Men’s Club in Long Island, NY starting this June 29th. “Famous Forensics Cases” will be presented by author of the Annie Tillery Mystery Novels and retired forensic science teacher, Linda Marie Frank. Learn more about the role of forensic science in famous trials such as the “People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson”, aka, the O.J. Simpson Murder Trial and the Lindbergh kidnapping. The “Famous Forensics Cases” lecture series will also explore on how forensics are used to solve past ancient mysteries.
Forensic Teen Mystery writer Linda Marie Frank has successfully authored and published three novel installments of the Annie Tillery Mystery Series, inspired by her love of the Nancy Drew novels and CSI television shows. But before her career as an author, Linda Marie Frank followed her first passion of teaching. Linda taught biology, chemistry and forensic science in both Middle and High Schools before moving on to teach forensic science and biotechnology at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
In 1995, Linda Maria Frank was awarded by the American Association of University Women for inspiring young women to pursue the field of science. After retirement from education Linda Frank channeled her love of forensic science and literature to craft the Annie Tillery Mystery Series.
