Findit, Inc. owner of Findit.com Shows Increase in Shares to Facebook from Findit Right Now Posts
Findit Right Now Posts when shared to Facebook have received more shares from Findit to Facebook than from Facebook to Facebook. Sharing posts on social sites is often done to reach a wider audience. Posts done on Findit.com through the Right Now status update that are shared to Facebook have consistently received more shares to Facebook from Findit Post than the shares post on Facebook. Several reasons may account for this.
- Findit is an open platform that visitors can come to without joining and see posts done by Findit members. These posts can be shared to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest and approximately 80 other sites. By not having to join Findit anyone who has an account on Facebook can share a post they see on Findit.
- When a post is shared to Facebook from Findit members can @ certain people in Facebook the same way they can a post originating in Facebook. When this is done certain people will see the post shared to Facebook from Findit and can click on the post from Facebook and land on the Findit post. From the Findit post the visitor has multiple options in addition to Facebook to share the post that is listed above. It appears that people like to share the original post from Findit over the Facebook post.
Although sharing has been higher from Findit posts comments have been higher on the post in Facebook than on Findit. Findit believes this is due to more people are already logged into Facebook and can easily leave a comment there rather than leaving a comment under the Findit post.
With brands always seeking to reach more people posting a content rich Right Now status update in Findit and sharing it on Facebook and @ ing certain members your post has the potential to reach the wider audience you are looking to reach without costing you more money.
Findit posts can include: Up to 6000 characters, Pictures, Video, Audio File, Outbound Link and a Press Release. The option is up to the member when it comes to adding content.
