Increase your exposure to Christian Orthodox religion and theology by studying at the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS). We offer classes online and at our Claremont, California campus. Through Orthodox Christian theological education, research, and scholarship, ACTS seeks to edify the Church throughout the world. We offer both a Masters of Divinity Degree as well as a Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies. We seek to provide students with a sound Orthodox education to prepare them to be bishops, priests, deacons, servants, scholars, and leaders to teach the Orthodox faith.

At ACTS we seek to mold Christian leaders who are spiritually mature, biblically and theologically responsible, professionally competent, intellectually astute, deeply committed to sharing the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our three-year Masters of Divinity program is designed to prepare qualified students for the priestly ministry of the Church. This program prepares students for church service, including Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Mission and Evangelism, and Hospital Chaplaincy.

Our Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies offers students a general introduction to Orthodox religion and theology. From our certificate program you can advance to our Master’s program. Or you can simply increase your exposure to religious and theological studies.
