Team Fastrax™ to Perform Patriotic Skydive at Philadelphia Veterans Parade
Team Fastrax™ will perform their much anticipated American Flag demonstration jump as part of the 2nd Annual Philadelphia Veterans Parade Sunday, November 6th, 2016. The parade starts at 12 pm and as part of the day’s festivities, just after 12:30 pm, Team Fastrax™ will wow the spectators while they skydive in with their majestic 1,100 sq. ft. American Flag as well as two red, white and blue streamers. The demonstration will be performed in front of Independence Hall.
John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and Founder of Team Fastrax™ said, “We are honored to be performing our patriotic American Flag skydive in front of the hall where our independence was founded. Members of Team Fastrax™ have served the United States of America as part of the Armed Forces, many in combat, so we particularly enjoy performing at any event that honors our nation’s military.”
According to the Philadelphia Veterans Parade website, the 2nd annual Veterans Parade begins at 12 noon at 16th & JFK Blvd. The route proceeds to Market Street, past the Reviewing Stand where it ends at 6th & Market Streets. After the parade, join them for the Veterans Honor Ceremony. Veterans of all branches and campaigns will be honored for their service. Location of the Honor Ceremony will be in the Festival area at 5th & Market St. New this year is their Veterans Outreach & Festival, an event to celebrate and provide information to our veterans and their families. It is located at 5th & Market St. from 12:30-4:30pm. It includes Veterans Outreach Tables, Food Vendors, a Beer Garden, Rock Climbing Wall, Face Painting, Balloon Artist, Magician, and Live Entertainment.
