Lindsay Lohan to do "extended care" program in rehab
Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina, said her 20-year-old daughter is “doing great” in rehab. Dina told PEOPLE that Lindsay will be staying at Promises rehab center to do the “extended care program.”
“I talk to her every day. She’s going to do Promises’ extended care program,” Dina said.
Dina went on to say that although Lindsay’s 21st birthday bash on July 2 has been canceled, the family will still celebrate with her. She did not say where they will celebrate but Lohan’s security guard said “It won’t be on the Promises premises.”
Meanwhile, Dina Lohan is in a court battle with ex-husband Michael over his visitation rights with their children. Michael was sentenced to 25 months in prison on charges of a DUI and assaulting his brother-in-law. He was released in March.
“I just want to move on. It takes its toll on myself and the children. It affects all of us,” said Dina. When asked if she was afraid if her ex-husband she said, “Yes.”
