The New York Yankees are -151 favorites on the road against the Baltimore Orioles but analysts at the popular baseball betting website EasyBaseballBetting.com predicts that they will lose.
The first item the website points out is how bad they are to begin a series. "They are [9-16, -13.96 units] in the first game of a series." says EasyBaseballBetting.com. Then they further explain how Andy Pettitte is being completely overvalued this season and how sportsbooks and the betting public has not adjusted to the fact that Pettitte is only 4-5 on the season.
The last important element here is the fact that the New York Yankees are pretty bad on the road, [16-24, -15.45 units] so from a betting perspective, they are a team to lay off of.
Jeremy Guthrie has had some solid starts over his past couple of outings and the web site claims that they are a strong value play at +141 at home.
