Britney Spears reportedly told Kevin Federline she wants him back
Britney Spears has reportedly told her estranged husband Kevin Federline that she wants to stop the divorce and try to save their marriage.
The National Enquirer magazine reported a source “close to the couple” saying “Britney called Kevin and told him ‘I’m not divorcing you! I want my family back.’ He was stunned.”
The source goes on to say the call was originally about custody rights and Federline had suspected Spears of stalling the divorce because she was having second thoughts.
“The conversation grew heated and Kevin said he wasn’t interested in reconciliation. Britney got upset and threatened to drag out the divorce for months until he saw things her way and came back to her,” the source claimed.
The “Toxic” singer has two children with Federline, 21-month-old Sean Preston and 9-month-old Jayden James. Spears, 25, has allegedly been telling friends that she wants to rebuild her marriage and filing for a divorce was a mistake.
Spears has also allegedly filed a restraining order against her mom, Lynne Spears. The pop singer claims her mom is abusing prescription pain pills and therefore should not be allowed to see Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Spears has allegedly already visited her lawyer and completed the paperwork. Lynne claimed although their relationship had a long way to go, it was improving.
