Dow Jones reported that Siemens AG's and Nokia Corporation's joint venture Nokia Siemens Networks said that it has signed a framework agreement to provide infrastructure technology and services for Qatar-based communications group Qtel International. Under the agreement, standard terms and volume-based discounted pricing for network equipment will be available to companies of Qtel Group. It didn't disclose the value of the contract. The agreement is initially for one year, and can be extended for up to two more years.
