Arnold Schwarzenegger Users His Celebrity Fame To Help 102 Year Old “Dear Friend”

Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken to Twitter to bring to the attention of his millions of followers about the predicament his ‘dear old friend’ is in. Thelma Smith, a 102 year old woman, who has lived in unincorporated Ladera Heights is being evicted after nearly 30 years.

Schwarzenegger’s tweet read “Thelma has been a dear friend for a long time. Imagine doing this to a 102-year-old woman who gave back to the community her whole life. It is heartless. Thelma, I’ll be reaching out to help. Landlords, you’ll hear from me too.”

According to the eviction notice, the 102 year old is being evicted so that the landlord’s daughter can take up residence instead. Thelma was given notice on March 8th stating she must vacate the single-family residence that she has resided in for nearly 30 years.
