Growing rift between Olsen twins over Mary-Kate’s boyfriend

A growing rift between twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has been reported. The sisters are allegedly having problems over Mary-Kate’s boyfriend Max Snow.

Mary-Kate is reportedly “crazy” about her new boyfriend but sister Ashley thinks he is bad news. The 21-year-old actress is worried about Snow’s alleged anger problem.

“Ashley never liked him from the get go, and now, as time has gone on, she thinks he is a bad influence on Mary-Kate. It worried Ashley that Mary-Kate is so passive around him, and lets him do the decision making,” a source told Celebrity Babylon website.

The source added that Ashley witnessed Max screaming at Mary-Kate because she forgot to pick something up at the store for him. He was reportedly saying “awful and insulting things” to Mary-Kate.

"Mary-Kate was teary-eyed and upset, but told Ashley 'He does that a lot - it blows over,’” the source said.

Mary-Kate and Max are rumored to be engaged. At the twins first birthday party Max gave Mary-Kate a Hermes Kelly bag. Two days later at another party at her home in Hollywood he gave her a diamond “promise ring” in front of family and close friends.

The ring he gave her was allegedly rose-cut diamonds set in platinum and a Snow family heirloom. Mary-Kate’s rep denies Snow ever gave her a ring.

“Mary-Kate and max are very serious,” a source told In Touch weekly magazine. “They’re practically living together and will probably get engaged before the end of the year. She loves Max so much.”
