Jessica Simpson to launch a fragrance and swimsuit line

Jessica Simpson is launching a new bikini line and a new fragrance line. The new swimsuit line will reportedly debut next month. The singer/actress helped design the swimsuits and is selecting the models that will show them off on the runway. In Touch Weekly magazine reports an insider said the collection includes “skimpy designs” as well as “more modest one-piece suits.”

Parlux Fragrances Inc. said Wednesday they signed a contract with Camuto Group and Jessica Simpson to launch a fragrance line. Simpson’s new fragrance line will debut in July 2008 in the United States and go international after that. Parlux Fragrances Inc. also work with stars such as Paris Hilton and companies like Guess, Ocean Pacific, Maria Sharapova and more.

The “Dukes of Hazzard” star also has clothing and shoes line, skincare products, and a hair extension project.
