Rosie O’Donnell in Hot Water for Photos of Daughter
Rosie O’Donnell continues to fan the flames of controversy after posting a photo of her four-year-old daughter dressed as a soldier on her blog.
The former ‘The View’ co-host placed a picture of Vivian Rose wearing army fatigues, an ammunition belt, head covering and an almost indifferent stare. The response from many who saw the picture was outrage. One respondent said “that picture is gross! I am distrubed…leaving your site for a clearing of my mind as to what you are up to!” while another posted “Are you kidding me with that pic of your daughter? Why would you do that?”
Rosie reportedly responded to the criticism of the picture saying that it was sad that a picture of her daughter dressed as a soldier would become national news while there are thousands of U.S soldiers dead and that hardly receives a write-up.
According to her spokesperson Cindi Berger “Her children were playing and they play dress-up, and that was just an image that she took, she (Rosie) is absolutely anti-war.”
