The Dow Jones industrial average closed above 10,000 again on Tuesday as the future for Greece’s debt crisis solidifies. Tuesday marked the best day for the Dow in over five weeks after closing at the lowest point in over 3 months on Wednesday. The three major indexes all tacked on an excess of 1 percent as treasuries fell with declining demand for safe havens.
The Dow Jones tacked on 150.25, or 1.5 percent, to hit 10,058.64 while the Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 13.78, or 1.3 percent, to 1,070.52.The Nasdaq composite index improved by 24.82 points, or 1.2 percent, to 2,150.87.
