A Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin and Associates poll conducted last week shows that amongst the most likely Iowa voters, Bill Richardson is in third place with 18%. John Edwards leads the pack with 31% then Hillary Clinton with 23% and Obama in fourth with 16%.
This is one of a long line of very strong poll numbers for Bill Richardson in the early states. Unlike Clinton and Obama, Richardson has not topped out and we can expect his poll numbers to continue to move up.
