American Cornhole Organization Launches ACO Season 18: Game of Throws; Winner is Coming

Just last week, September 2-3, The American Cornhole Organization (ACO), the Official Worldwide Governing Body of the Sport of Cornhole, began the Battle of Season 18 and the search for a new King or Queen of Cornhole, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

ACO Season 18, which runs from September 2022 through May 2023 will culminate with the World’s Largest
Cornhole Party, the ACO World Championships of Cornhole the last week of July 2023. The season will feature 35 ACO Majors; nationwide points earning tournaments featuring the best Pro Players in the game. Each Major is open to the public with free admission, social play and various ‘luck of the draw’ and competitive tournaments.

ACO Season 18 will also answer the big cornhole question: ‘Who will be King’ … or ‘Queen’ as the ‘Game of Throws gets under way. Will ACO Pro Craig Ervin, King of Season 17 repeat? Will ACO Pro Gary Ferguson, King of Season 16 regain the crown? Will a usurper appear to take the title? As in every
season before: ‘Winner is Coming’.

“With the two most recent Kings of Cornhole both in the ACO Season 18 hunt, and the talent that is fighting week in and week out to capture the crown, we are in for an unprecedented level of competition,” said Frank Geers, President, and CEO of ACO. “Fergy is fiery, and Craig has ice in his veins. The question is: ‘will an unknown find themselves airmail draggin’ their way to the ACO Season 18 crown’; King or Queen.”
