ACO Chooses Owensboro, KY as Host City for Season 18 2023 ACO World Championships of Cornhole

The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) has made its decision, selecting Owensboro, KY as the destination for the highly anticipated Season 18 ACO 2023 World Championships of Cornhole. This choice holds a special significance for the organization, as Owensboro has been a consistent host city for ACO events throughout the years. Michael "Fin" Walter, ACO Announcer and Promoter, a proud native of Louisville, expresses his excitement about bringing the competition back to the state of Kentucky.

"Owensboro is right in the heartland, a prime location for many of our players. The travel costs associated with Owensboro are quite reasonable, and the city offers great deals on food, drinks, and accommodations. There's always so much happening in and around Owensboro, and since we were last there for the Worlds 12, the city has grown even more," Walter shares.

For the past 17 seasons, the ACO has consistently showcased its World Championships in various cities across the United States, attracting the best professional cornhole players from all corners of the country. The 2023 ACO World Championships of Cornhole spans an exciting week-long festival of intense competition, featuring divisions such as Juniors, Seniors, COED Doubles, Women's Doubles, and culminating in the crowning of the coveted title of King or Queen of Cornhole.
