In a thrilling announcement, the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) has confirmed that Owensboro, KY, will once again host the eagerly anticipated Season 19 ACO World Championships of Cornhole from July 22-27, 2024. This choice holds special significance for the ACO, as Owensboro has been a consistently gracious and welcoming host over the years. Michael "Fin" Walter, ACO Announcer and Promoter, and a proud Louisville native, expressed his excitement about bringing the competition back to Kentucky.

Walter highlighted Owensboro's prime location in the heartland, making it easily accessible for many players. The city offers affordable travel options and great deals on food, drinks, and accommodations. He also noted that since the last visit for Worlds 18, Owensboro has experienced tremendous growth, with plenty of exciting activities happening in and around the city.

For the past 19 seasons, the ACO has selected various cities across the United States to showcase its World Championships, attracting top professional cornhole players from all over the country. The 2024 ACO World Championships of Cornhole will be a week-long festival of intense competition, featuring divisions such as Juniors, Seniors, COED Doubles, and Women's Doubles. This year will also feature the ACO/AAU Juniors World Championships, to be held July 19-20. The 2024 ACO Worlds will culminate in the crowning of the highly coveted title of King or Queen of Cornhole.
