Yi Jianlian Goes to the Milwaukee Bucks with Sixth Pick in 2007 NBA Draft
Yi Jianlian has likened his game to Dirk Nowitzki rather than fellow countryman Yao Ming and now the Milwaukee Bucks will find out if the 7-foot Chinese import is correct in his self assessment after using their first round pick on the 19-year-old.
Considered one of the biggest questions of the Draft, Yi Jianlian will now have an opportunity to answer those questions when he suits up in a Bucks uniform. Regarded as a strong ball handler and more than capable of taking defenders off the dribble Jianlian also possesses a strong perimeter game that extends to about 20-feet from the basket.
Most believe Jianlian will have to build some upper body strength to withstand the physical pounding he will take in the league.
