Bad News Hounding Rudy Giuliani

Things have not been going so well for Rudy Giuliani, the Republican presidential candidate. He has had to see his South Carolina chairman get indicted for drugs and then he was criticized for not going for meetings of the Iraq Study Group.

Giuliani has been facing one bad news after the other and this could have repercussions on his fundraising. The people who are giving money might have second thoughts after reading all the news about Giuliani.

This week the Nevada poll results were released and it shows that Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney have taken a lead over Giuliani. Romney is also leading over Giuliani in Iowa and New Hampshire.

This got the Giuliani camp in top gear and the campaign immediately set out to reassure his supporters by informing that through a memo that Giuliani was still well-placed to win the Republican nomination for president.

According to USAElectionPolls.com, the way Giuliani handles all the criticism he has been getting will have an impact on his campaign. All campaigns go through a bad phase and the trick is to keep moving forward and that is what Giuliani’s campaign should do.

This could be reason why Giuliani’s campaign has decided to spend the summer promoting Giuliani’s 12 proposals that are meant to address crime, spending, and education among others. The campaign is certain that once the voters have an opportunity to know about the proposed changes Giuliani wants to implement when he becomes the president, they will support him and vote for him.
