Kevin Federline “put his foot down” on Britney, refuses to sign divorce papers
Kevin Federline has refused to sign divorce papers because he is concerned that his estranged wife Britney Spears is not capable of taking care of their two children. The rapper is concerned about Spears' recent appearances at late night parties.
A Federline insider says tells E! News, “It’s not about the money. It’s about her partying. It’s her partying ways that is forcing Kevin to put his foot down.”
In March the couple was said to have reached a “global divorce settlement on all issues of their marriage” but Federline’s failure to sign the divorce keeps the pair legally married. They agreed on joint custody of their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The agreement was the two boys would stay with Spears the majority of the week.
Federline wants to revise the agreement to where he can limit Spears time with their children if she continues to party and act irresponsibly. Spears has not commented on the Federline’s actions yet.
The pop princess is having another relationship problem her mother, Lynne Spears. On Thursday Spears made a big deal about handing papers over to Lynne. Rumors are that the paper is a restraining order seeking to prevent Lynne from seeing her grandchildren because Spear’s accuses her of being addicted to prescription drugs. Spears also blames her mother for forcing her into rehab.
Lynne told cameramen, “It was a love letter. She did not serve me.”
