NBA News: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony Among Stars Listed on U.S. National Team

LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony headline an impressive list of NBA stars who have been selected to be on the U.S. national team and potentially play in this summer’s world championships and the 2012 Olympics in London.

LeBron, Kobe and Carmelo will have some familiar teammates as they are joined by Dwyane Wade, Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams from the Olympic squad that took gold in Beijing.

While 27 names have been selected there could be a number who drop including superstars like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh who have all said their top priority this offseason will be settling their contract issues.

Joining the list of Olympic returnees will be veterans Chauncey Billups, Amare Stoudemire and Lamar Odom along with some young talent in Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Al Jefferson, Kevin Love, Eric Gordon, Gerald Wallace, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, David Lee, Andre Iguodala, O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, Kendrick Perkins, LaMarcus Aldridge and Danny Granger.
