Kent Exploration NZ Starts Geological Assessment and Sampling Program of Lyell Gold Project

 

Kent Exploration Inc.'s (TSX-V: KEX) wholly owned subsidiary, Kent Exploration NZ Ltd. has started a geological assessment and sampling program on the company's Lyell Gold Project. The project is located about 25km northwest of Reefton, on the West Coast, South Island, New Zealand.

The company's geological consultant for the project, Ms. Heidi Rhodes, M.Sc. P.Geol., under the direction of the company's senior consulting geologist for New Zealand, Ms. Nancy Reardon, M.Sc. P.Geol., has finished the reconnaissance visit along with a preliminary rock chip sampling program at the Red Queen historic mine. The Lady Agnes, Swastika and Southern Light reefs, which are nearby the Red Queen mine were also located. Visible gold was identified and submitted for assay to SGS laboratories NZ.

 

Kent Exploration Inc is a junior exploration company that has an Option Agreement to earn 100% of Teck's interest in Chalice Gold Mines Limited's Gnaweeda Gold Project in West Australia and has acquired the Alexander River, Paparoa and Lyell gold projects in the highly prolific Reefton gold field in New Zealand.
