Burning Car Crashes Into Glasgow Airport in Scotland
One day after London police discovered a car loaded with explosives in a heavily populated nightclub district a flaming SUV crashed into the Glascow airport in Scotland.
The vehicle, traveling at full speed, slammed straight through the main entrance of the airport and burst into flames. After the crash twp men tried t o escape from the SUV but they were tackled by a crowd of people and police arrested the pair.
Reports from witnesses said one man who had exited the SUV was on fire when he exited the car but was still trying to open the back hatch of the vehicle.
Police have not reported any injuries from the accident and are not saying if there is any connection to the thwarted attack in London. The Glascow airport was closed immediately and all flights suspended.
