The campaign is being run to reduce the impact of childhood obesity and making schools models for healthier living. The first goal of the campaign is to eliminate childhood obesity within the next generation, according the ARAMARK Education President, Dennis Maple. Mr. Maple notes that by involving the entire school community, millions of families will be empowered to make healthy decisions. As part of the campaign, ARAMARK is to participate in the USDA HealtheirUS School Challenge, encouraging schools to create healthier school environments through promoting good nutrition and physical activity.
