Global High Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE:GHI) has declared a monthly distribution of $0.0851 per share. The distribution is payable to shareholders of record as of February 18, 2010 on February 25, 2010. The Fund reported adopting a managed distribution policy in December 1999. As the policy is still in effect, the Fund continues to make regular monthly distributions at an annualized rate of 8% of the Fund’s net asset value. The Fund’s net asset value is determined on the last day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange during the first week of the month.

Global High Income Fund Inc. (the Fund) is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company. The Fund’s primary investment objective is to achieve a high-level of current income. As a secondary objective the Fund seeks capital appreciation, to the extent consistent with its primary objective. The Fund’s investment advisor and administrator is UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc. (UBS Global AM). As of September 30, 2009, UBS Global AM had approximately $146 billion in assets under management.
