Ron Paul Celebrates Life And Liberty In Iowa

Iowans for Tax Relief along with the Iowa Christians Alliance organized a forum for presidential candidates on June 30, 2007. They invited Republican and Democratic presidential candidates to participate in the forum. However, Ron Paul was one of the six Republican candidates who was not extended an invitation to participate in the forum.

So, Ron Paul campaign decided to hold its own “forum” in the same venue to celebrate life and liberty. The rally was held in Des Moines, Iowa, and it was immediately after the forum organized by Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance.

The rally was organized by the Ron Paul camp in less than a week and it attracted more attendees than the other forum. In fact, the attendees were close to a thousand. The event was held immediately after the forum, which had six presidential candidates, and was right next door to where the forum was held.

Ron Paul received thunderous applause many time during his speech, including standing ovations.

According to USAElectionPolls.com the rally organized by the Ron Paul camp was the biggest in Iowa in this campaign for a Republican candidate.

Campaign manager Lew Moore believes that Ron Paul has managed to generate more grassroot support than any other presidential candidate in the race.
