Britney Spears mom, Lynne Spears, insist that “Everything is going to be fine,” between her and Britney despite the recent rift that has grown between them. Lynne is hoping to be with her daughter for the Fourth of July weekend.
Rumors that Britney gave her mom restraining order papers are not true. OK! Magazine reporter Courtney Hazlett says “She did not give her mom a restraining order. She gave her mom a scathing letter that made her very upset.”
Britney recently accused her mom of being addicted to prescription drugs and did not want Lynne around her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. The pop princess told reporters, “I’m praying for her right now. [I hope] she gets all the help she needs.”
Britney and Kevin Federline, the father of the two boys, are going through a divorce and share joint custody of their children. Britney was reportedly afraid Lynne and her soon-to-be ex husband was trying to take the children away from her. Federline recently deemed her unfit to care for the children.
Despite all the problems between mother and daughter Lynne says, “I’ve got a strong family, and everything is going to be fine.”
