Prince Edward and Wife Expecting Second Child
Prince Edward, the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II, and his wife Sophie are expecting their second child some time in December.
News of the upcoming birth was revealed by a Buckingham Palace spokeswoman on Monday. Edward and Sophie, who hold the titles of Earl and Countess of Wessex, have a three-year-old daughter who bears the title Lady Louise.
Edward and Sophie were married in 1999.
The baby will be the eighth grandchild for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
