‘Jackass’ star Johnny Knoxville Files for Divorce

While Johnny Knoxville has subjected himself to some of the most repulsive and dangerous stunts on the hit show “Jackass” it appears that marriage is one act he is no longer willing to endure.

After 12 years of marriage to Melanie Lynn Clapp the 36-year-old Knoxville, whose real name is Philip John Clapp, has filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

Knoxville filed for divorce on Tuesday at the Los Angeles Superior Court and is looking for joint custody of his11-year-old daughter, Madison.

Knoxville starred in the 2005 film “The Ringer” and shared the screen with Jessica Simpson and Seann William Scott “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
