Every week, YouTube.com creates a candidate spotlight for one of the candidates. For this week, it is Jim Gilmore. In his spotlight video, he speaks of the necessity for the United States to protect our essential freedoms.
He wants to see what YouTube visitors think of free speech, the right to bear arms, and property rights. He alludes to be against McCain-Feingold in the video.
The web community has come out against his video as hypocritical. He talks of how important it is for free speech but ratings were disabled for his video and comments must be approved before being posted on the site. "How can one be for free speech but limit the comments and ratings of his own video." says one online blogger.
